It Continues to Become Awesome
The Race Queen has just emailed me saying she's passed the primary selection board to represent Japan at the next Miss International competition. Oh, and she's not interested in becoming a diplomat anymore. Nah, just being a career lawyer is good enough. After a short stint in modelling, anyway.

I'm using Win98SE's crappy IME. All my encoding is Unicode, though. Otherwise I can't write J and C on the same page.

Nope, it's all Mandarin Pinyin. The only way to enter stuff in Cantonese (which is what I know you're leading up to), is to either a) enter pure characters, either through the Mandarin pronunciation or something like the Chinese Traditional (Taiwan) IME that works by four-corner code (which I do not know), or b) try a program like Red Dragonfly Input which looks like it will work, or maybe NJStar. By the way, Zhongwen.com lists Cantonese pronunciation of characters. でも日本語を忘れないでね！

Mandarin is easy. Just install the appropriate IME (I use MSPinYin98) and type away. Putting 1,2,3, and 4 after the word indicates the tone. And good for you serving the J-customers. Recently I've been getting French-speaking customers so that gives me a chance to brush up on the old フランス語.
