I was at the School of No Discipline, which has amazingly become a fun place. Perhaps my screaming at the Violent First-Grader the last time did it. I noticed that on the kids' name tags, which they all wear pinned to the front of their shirts, they also have to list the blood type! I here present an edited version.

There was a midyear conference in Hanamaki, at a hotel. Even the public toilets were awesome. Not only can you select the pressure for the bidet, but temperature as well!
中年研究会が花巻の大旅館で行った。公衆手洗いでも素晴らしかった。ビデの水圧が選べるだけじゃなくて温度も！

There was even a fake church for weddings. Stupid. Why marry in the church of a religion that you don't follow? (rhetorical)

After coming back from the conference, I stopped in Kitakami to see if I could find my keys and inkan. No such luck. I did find a nice shrine dedicated to the god of thunder though.
研究会から戻ってくる時は北上に止まって鍵か印鑑が見つかれるかと調べた。そんな運がなかったけどね・・・まいや、雷神の神社を見つけたけど。
